Foundation undertakes a plethora of socially responsible activities and Providing rehabilitation services for the people with disabilities is its most admirable vertical called Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan which is a charitable school training and rehabilitation of the differently abled children and young adults.

About MBCN – Flagship Program of the Ponty Chadha Foundation

MBCN is a charitable school dedicated to supporting children with special needs, including those with intellectual challenges, cerebral palsy, autism, hearing impairment, and multiple disabilities.

For over 25 years, we have been providing comprehensive rehabilitation services free of cost, empowering more than 500 children to achieve greater integration into mainstream society. As one of the largest institutions of its kind globally, we are committed to fostering inclusion and holistic development.

Employment Models at Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN)

Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN) is a charitable school committed to empowering children with special needs through education, rehabilitation, and skill development. An initiative of the Ponty Chadha Foundation, MBCN provides comprehensive support to help children.

Sheltered Workshop – “Swayam”

80% of MBCN students are engaged in the sheltered workshop, where they create eco-friendly products. Students receive a share of the profits, empowering them with financial independence and a sense of accomplishment.

Open Employment

12% of students have transitioned to open employment, securing independent job roles with leading organizations like Tata Westside, Lemon Tree Hotels, Wave Infratech, and DS Group. They earn a salary, gaining exposure to a professional work environment.

Supported Employment

8% of students are placed in supported employment within the school, receiving a stipend while gaining essential work experience. This model helps them build confidence and practical skills.

Vocational Training

At MBCN, we design vocational training programs tailored to each student’s unique abilities and needs. These programs empower students with practical skills that enhance their self-esteem and promote financial independence. Beyond skill development, students also build interpersonal relationships that are vital for their social integration.
Our flagship vocational training initiative, Swayam, operates as a sheltered workshop within the school premises. Here, young adults create a range of eco-friendly paper products—such as envelopes, greeting cards, file holders,
Guided by experienced vocational trainers, students engage in meaningful work while contributing to a sustainable and socially responsible cause. Profits from the sale of these products are shared with the students, reinforcing their sense of accomplishment and supporting their journey toward financial autonomy.
